Welcome to Lakewood’s Cub Scout Pack 54! Make friends, explore outdoors, and build confidence through hands-on adventures.
Families from every school are welcome. Your child does not need to attend Lakewood Elementary to join. Boys and girls can start in any grade, kindergarten through fifth. Parents and siblings are welcome at pack events.
What to expect
What to expect
Pack meetings: Ordinarily the last Sunday each month at the Scout Hut, Ridgewood Park United Methodist Church, 6445 E Lovers Lane. Email to confirm the time.
Den meetings: Smaller groups by grade meet once or twice monthly for adventures, teamwork, and practical skills.
Family-powered: Parent volunteers lead our pack and help with events.

Cub Scouts learn by doing. Through age-appropriate adventures, kids practice everyday skills, help others, and discover what they can accomplish—one new challenge at a time.
Practical life skills: Work through problems, follow a plan, build things, and take responsibility. Trying, practicing, and trying again helps confidence grow.
Outdoor know-how: Prepare for a hike, explore plants and wildlife, learn camping basics, and care for the places we visit.
Safety awareness: Practice the buddy system, recognize unsafe situations, and learn when and how to ask a trusted adult for help.
Community service: Discover how small acts of kindness, food collections, and conservation projects can make a difference for our neighbors.
Teamwork & character: Take turns, listen, include others, show good sportsmanship, and practice leading—all while doing their best.

Pack dues: $100 per Scout. Historically, we haven’t participated in additional fundraising during the year.
